Great location in the downtown area with lots of restaurants nearby and the 101. The staff was friendly and the room was excellent to get the rest done. Kids enjoyed being outside on the porch. This is the place to stay . Enjoyed my stay at the Budget Inn . Thanks Boss until next time.
Friendly staff. I'm 6'3", 300lbs and I actually found the bed to be comfortable even for four nights. It's close to the 101 but that's only a problem because of traffic pulling in and out of the parking lot. Be prepared they require a $100 cash deposit which is returned after a quick room check. I was pleasantly surprised by this place.
Basic budget accommodation, nothing fancy. Hot water took a very long time to warm up, but it was nice to have a big bed. Location was great, about a 15 min walk to downtown/the mission. The staff was very friendly and accommodating!
Our stay at the Budget Inn Motel was amazing. Really comfortable bed. Really nice. Nice 1970s vibe about the place. If you're looking for something modern and sleek then look elsewhere. However, if you want to get to downtown easily, get blind drunk and eat pizza naked and wake up with a splintering hangover and drive down to Morro Bay and bark at seals then this place is for you. The lovely little lady at the check-in desk was very pleasant and welcoming. Also, the hairdryer is very good.
Our room was very spacious and clean. We loved it! The "breakfast" was sufficient, but very perfunctory, though: cereal, muffins and coffee/juice. It would help if it weren't served in the lobby nook, which fits about 3 standing adults. Overall, this was for value for the money. Budget inn indeed:)
You get what you pay for. The rooms were good for the price. It was clean, and I noticed that older post were talking about roaches, but there was not a single roach inside the rooms or near the rooms. It seems that hotel is under new management. Very good for the price. If you need a place just to sleep or on a tight budget, then this is a good choice.

The staff was very friendly, we experienced absolutely no problems and they even were very accommodating to our requests. We got a nice view from our room. I can see how great this place will be with upgrades, but for a place to just sleep, it was good. Clean, and close to downtown.
Staying at the Budget Inn was great! The staff was super friendly, the room was clean and comfy, and the location was really convenient, local dinning options. And we were able to have our fur babies. I would highly recommend budget inn for anyone looking for a budget-friendly yet comfortable place to stay!
